2. PROGRAMME REVIEW
  Under the light of the new version of ISO 14001: 2015, the requirement for the understanding towards the applicable and other requirements has become more important.  The EMS committee need to know exactly what is the applicable environmental legal requirements and how they are associated to each and every environmental aspect. The depth of such understanding is even much more demanding when performing the process of evaluating legal compliance. By doing this process effectively, the EMS Committee need to have an interpretive ability on the applicable legal requirements. Besides the legal aspects, the organisation also needs to know what the “Other Requirements” are in order to comply with the ISO 14001:2015 Certification.

  • Introduction to the structure of OSHA Act and Regulations  
  • The associated “Other Requirements”
  • Permits and Licences 
  • Linking legal requirements to environmental aspects 
  • Performing evaluation of compliance
5. LEARNING OUTCOME
  At the end of this training participant shall be able to possess the interpretive level of understanding and able to determine the legal and other requirements that are applicable to their current business. They shall be able to associate those related legal and other requirements to each and every environmental aspect.
