PROGRAMME REVIEW

As per stipulated in Clause 4.5.4 OHSAS 18001:2007, Client has to carry out periodical audit on the implemented Occupational Health and Safety Management System.   System Audits have to be carried out periodically based on the importance and status of previous audit. It is particularly important in verifying its effectiveness and compliance with OHSAS 18001 requirements and planned arrangement.   

Internal Health and Safety Auditors appointed to perform this specific task must be trained and competent in order to ensure that audits are performed systematically and objectively. This course is to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge and methodology to meet such requirements

TARGET GROUP

This course is designed for Internal Health & Safety Auditors, Safety and Health Officers (appointed and certified), management staff, Safety and Health Committees and staffs who are likely to involve or currently involved in the implementing of the OHSAS 18001:2007 and/ ISO 14001:2004 EMS.

1. An overview of the conspectus of OHSAS 18001:2007  

2. An overview of the applicable Legal and other requirements

3. The ability to carry out the required preparatory work prior to Internal Audit

4. The systematic approach and methodology to conduct an Internal Health and Safety Audit

5. The “hands-on” experience of an actual Internal Audit through practical workshop.

The objectives of this training course aim to provide the participants with the following:
